AMERICANAFEST expands line-up

Wednesday, July 17, 2024 – The Americana Music Association announced a new slate of artists to the 2024 AMERICANAFEST lineup in September.

In conjunction with the most recent acts joining the festival, the association is also unveiling the special event, Songs of Yellowstone, featuring artists whose music was highlighted in the hit TV series, and a tribute to Mary Gauthier.

AMERICANAFEST, which will be Sept. 17-21, will host over 200 showcasing performances. The premier festival will also bring together industry professionals and music fans alike for conference panels and special events across Music City.

AMERICANAFEST is partnering with music supervisor Andrea von Foerster of "Yellowstone" to celebrate the music and the artists in the show, which ran for five seasons, as "Songs of Yellowstone." The special event, Songs of Yellowstone, will be exclusive to attendees with festival wristbands. von Foerster will moderate the event and lead discussions with individual artists about the role and visibility of Americana music in shows like Yellowstone, followed by performances from each act.

The All-Star Tribute to Mary Gauthier will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17 at City Winery in Nashville. Following the tribute, Gauthier will perform her 1999 album "Drag Queens In Limousines" in its entirety with Jaimee Harris. This special event is exclusive to attendees with festival wristbands.
