Hicks finds "Door's Unlocked"

Friday, December 13, 2024 – Noah Hicks is out with "Door's Unlocked" today via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment.

Extending a "no questions asked" open invitation to come over anytime "the truck is in the driveway," Hicks sings of an outreach to an ex. Written by Hicks with Paul DiGiovanni, Jeremy Stover and Cole Taylor, electric guitar anchors the track.

"People always say that when it's over, it's over. But sometimes you find yourself wondering what would happen if you left that door open," said Hicks. "We wrote 'Door's Unlocked' about that in between where you're looking to rekindle a bit of what got away – even if it's just for one night – and hoping that the other person feels the same way."

Since signing with Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment in April, Hicks has released "Dirt Roads Dirt (featuring Justin Moore)," "Second Time Around (featuring Shaylen)" and "Nights Memories Stories."

Raised on a chicken farm in Carrollton, Ga., Hicks moved to Nashville in 2020. Two years later, he put out a six-song EP, "Tripping Over My Boots."
