Shelton stays first

Monday, February 2, 2009 – Blake Shelton continues his reign at the top of the country singles charts this week with She Wouldn't Be Gone.

This marks the second week at the top with song written by Cory Batten and Jennifer Adan. Shelton has had five ones in his career.

"I love to sing songs about regret - always have - and mistakes you make along the way. She Wouldn't Be Gone is extremely emotional and has a little different slant on things the guy could have done right along the way," he said.
