Toby Keith addresses National Press Club
Friday, April 17, 2009 – Toby Keith will be the featured speaker at a National Press Club luncheon next week, on the eve of his departure for his seventh USO Tour of the Persian Gulf. The event will take place at the NPC's Washington headquarters Tuesday, April 21.
Keith will field inquiries from NPC members in a question-and-answer session at the conclusion of his remarks.
That same day, Keith will be honored with a Distinguished Service Award by the Military Officers Association of America. He soon will depart for an 11-day USO Tour that will include 17 shows and take him to small, forward operating bases at the front lines of America's overseas military operations.
Last month, Dolly Parton spoke before the National Press Club.
