Nelson tours with Dylan, Mellencamp

Friday, April 24, 2009 – Willie Nelson once again is hitting the road with Bob Dylan for a summer tour of minor league baseball parks. They will have a little company this time around in the form of John Mellencamp.

July 14 Allentown PA - Coca-Cola Park
July 15 New Britain CT - New Britain Stadium
July 19 Syracuse NY - Alliance Bank Stadium
July 21 Pawtucket RI - McCoy Stadium
July 23 Lakewood NJ - FirstEnergy Park
July 24 Aberdeen MD - Ripken Stadium
July 25 Norfolk VA - Harbor Park
July 28 Durham NC - Durham Bulls Athletic Park
July 29 Sevierville TN - Smokies Park
Aug. 4 Round Rock TX - The Dell Diamond
Aug. 5 Corpus Christi TX - Whataburger Field

More dates are expected to be added. All concert tickets are priced at $67.50, and most shows are general admission, allowing fans to grab a seat in the stands or find a place to watch from the field. Tickets will go on sale throughout the month of May and will be available at the local ballpark ticket office and affiliated ticket outlets. Children 14 and under get in free with each adult ticket holder. Showtime is 5:30 p.m. and gates open at 5: p.m. There is no baseball game on the day of the show. A presale for tickets to several shows begins Monday, April 27.
