Whitney Duncan goes Skinny Dippin'

Thursday, July 2, 2009 – Whitney Duncan put out a video for her new single, Skinny Dippin'. The video was shot at Xanadu Ranch in Arrington, Tenn.

The video takes place against the backdrop of a summer day and the elements of a playful interaction between to people in love. The video can be seen at http://wbr.edgeboss.net/qtime/wbr/nashville/whitneyduncan/062409/whitneyduncan_skinny-dippin_v2_450.mov.

Roman White directed the video and Randy Brewer produced.

Duncan, who already has an EP out, is slated to put out the CD "Right Road Now," produced by John Shanks and Mark Bright. All tracks were co-written by Duncan, a Tennessee native. She has also written singles for other artists, including Lee Ann Womack and Crystal Shawanda.

CD review - Right Road Now It was a long road for this album to come out, with the first single issued almost two years ago. That song, When I Said I Would, is here, as is the second single, the naughty-but-nifty tune Skinny Dipping. Given the extended gestation of these tunes it may come as a surprise that the majority of the disc sounds fresh and current; or it may be an indictment of the stagnant mainstream country scene that three-year-old songs sound like they were cut this week.
