Paisley gets his own guitar
Wednesday, June 2, 2010 – Brad Paisley is getting his own guitar model, courtesy of Gibson. The new guitar is the Brad Paisley J-45 Model, a custom-appointed acoustic guitar from the luthiers of Bozeman, Mont.
The guitar is constructed in the image of the J-45 "round-shouldered" dreadnought with Paisley's own preferences for a prized solid Adirondack Red Spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides, and one-piece custom mahogany neck with "modified V" profile and 24 3/4"-scale rosewood fingerboard.
Only 300 Brad Paisley Model guitars are being produced by Gibson Acoustic, and each one comes with a formfitting hardshell case with plush blue lining, an owner's manual, Gibson's Gold Warranty, label personally signed by Brad Paisley and a certificate of authenticity.
The guitar is not cheap. The suggested price is $5,158.
