Swift, Paisley, Lady A, Underwood win American Music Awards
Sunday, November 21, 2010 – Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum and Carrie Underwood were the winners Sunday in the country categories at the American Music Awards.
Paisley won for male country artist, Swift for female country artist, Lady Antebellum for country group and Underwood for country album of the year for "Play On."
Each category had three nominees. Paisley won over Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan; Swift over Miranda Lambert and Underwood; and Lady A over Zac Brown Band and Rascal Flatts. Underwood took the album over Lady A's "Need You Now" and Aldean's "Wide Open."
