New Krauss + Union Station CD coming
Saturday, December 4, 2010 – Alison Krauss + Union Station will be back with a new release in February.
That's the word from Ken Irwin, one of t he heads of Rounder Records.
In an online posting Friday, Irwin said, "Alison Krauss and Union Station have completed their new album which is scheduled for release on Feb. 8th. There are no band changes, but, as always, when the band is off the road, band members work on side projects." There were no further details about the new disc.
Krauss' last release was "Raising Sand" with Robert Plant, which came out in October 2007. A Krauss and Union Station release, "A Hundred Miles or More: A Collection," came out in April 2007.
