Montana shows 1,000 Faces

Monday, December 13, 2010 – Randy Montana was in downtown Nashville last Saturday to shoot the video for his upcoming new single 1,000 Faces.

The video for the song, written by Montana and Tom Douglas, was directed by Robert Deaton and George Flanigen. More than 60 extras were used to convert the closed city streets into a swarm of pedestrians around Montana and his band. To hear the single and see behind the scenes footage, visit www.randymontana.com and click on the van cam number 14 episode. The single will be available Jan. 4.

"I can't wait for everyone to see this video," said Montana. "Working with Robert and George was awesome. I had a great time talking with the extras and all the people that just walked up to see what all the noise was and why the street was blocked off. There was also a hammered drunk homeless man named Memphis that walked up in the middle of the shoot. He looked at me and said, 'If y'all let me dance, I'll make you more money.' I think he thought we were playing for tips."

CD reviews for Randy Montana

CD review - Randy Montana Randy Montana didn't have to go far from home to learn how to craft a song. His father is Nashville songwriter Billy Montana, who has written hits for the likes of Garth Brooks and Sara Evans. It seems his father taught him well; his debut album is full of radio-friendly, guitar-driven country. Montana's got a raspy, rough-edged voice, and the characters he writes match it well. Ain't Much Left of Lovin' You was released last year and inched into the Top 40. ...
