Shelton announces "Red River Blue"
Thursday, May 19, 2011 – Blake Shelton announced Thursday his ninth album will be called "Red River Blue." The disc will be out July 12 on Warner.
Produced by multi-award winner, Scott Hendricks the forthcoming album includes Shelton's fastest rising single-to-date, Honey Bee.
This has been a busy period for Shelton professionally and personally. He released two EPs last year plus a greatest hits package. Last Saturday, he married Miranda Lambert. Shelton is currently one of the musician coaches on NBC's "The Voice" along with Christian Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine. "The Voice" airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. eastern.
