Twain announces Vegas residency

Monday, June 13, 2011 – Shania Twain will do a two-year residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

"Shania: Still The One" starts Dec. 1, 2012. The announcements comes on the heels of the release Sunday of her first new song in six years, Today is Your Day. Her docu‐series on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network "Why Not? With Shania Twain" debuted on May 8th as the‐highest rated premier to date for the network. Her final episode in which she reveals her decision to return to the stage aired this past Sunday.

Tickets go on sale to the public Sunday, June 19, 2011 at 10 a.m. Pacific.

December 2012 dates are 1, 2, 5, 6, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15. Prices range from $55 to $250.

"This is a dream for any performing artist," she said in an announcement. "What more could I ask for. It's an opportunity, but it's more than that. It's an exceptional gift."

"I'm enjoying getting close to the fans again," Twain said.
