Paisley, Underwood hop to the top

Monday, August 29, 2011 – Brad Paisley's duet, Remind Me, with Carrie Underwood will hit the number one spot on both the Billboard and Country Aircheck country airplay charts when released later this week.

Remind Me takes over for Dierks Bentley's Am I the Only One. The new chart topper becomes Paisley's 20th number 1 single and Underwood's 14th. Written by Paisley, Chris DuBois and Kelley Lovelace, Remind Me is Paisley's third single from his Gold certified album, "This Is Country Music." The single was certified Gold earlier this month by the RIAA for sales exceeding 500,000 downloads and has now passed 750,000 digital downloads.

Paisley and Underwood will team up once again on Nov. 9 when they co-host "The 45th Annual CMA Awards" live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena at 8-11 p.m. Eastern on ABC. This year's show marks the fourth year that the duo has co-hosted the show together.

CD review - Cry Pretty Carrie Underwood's life was reading straight from the storybooks: one of the few American Idol Winners with ongoing success; a professional athlete for a husband; a beautiful baby boy. The string of great fortune turned sharply in 2017, when Underwood began the unfathomable experience of three consecutive lost pregnancies. This was atop a frightening fall at her home that ended with her face in nearly 50 stitches. Sharing these moments with her fans makes the beamingly-beautiful singer ...
