Shelton scores ACM male vocalist honor
Sunday, April 1, 2012 – The good night continued for Blake Shelton as he won the Male Artist award at the ACMs Sunday night.
"Man, holy crap," Shelton said in taking the honor. "I didn't see that coming at all. It's amazing, co-hosting this. I hadn't even thought about this at all."
Shelton said he had been backstage singing to Bentley's Home...It's been a long hard ride, got a ways to go." The camera quickly switched to wife Miranda Lambert, who had tears in her eyes.
Others nominated were Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley and Chris Young.
