Gloriana postpones shows due to vocal problems
Thursday, July 12, 2012 – Gloriana must reschedule tonight's show in Cape Coral, Fla. and Friday night in Bradenton, Fla. because singer Tom Gossin was placed on vocal rest.
"The band apologizes for the inconvenience but looks forward to their rescheduled performance on November 7th in Cape Coral and November 10th in Bradenton!," the band's web site said.
All tickets purchased thus far for these shows will be honored at the new performance date.
The band's new disc drops on July 31. The group has a hit on its hands with (Kissed You) Good Night.

It is interesting that Gloriana shares its name with a 1953 English opera, as they sound much the same --powerful, scripted and slightly overdramatic. The group's tight-knit harmonies are the crux of this 13-track album; they gorgeously weave and contrast strong 2-, 3- and 4-parts into almost every verse. Occasionally the group over sings, but then, they are fighting to be heard over layers of unneeded production.
