Swift dedicates song to cancer victim
Tuesday, September 11, 2012 – Taylor Swift released a new single for charity. Ronan was released on Sept. 8 as a benefit to raise money to fight cancer.
Swift performed the song on Stand Up To Cancer concert last Friday, a benefit concert. Swift wrote the song about Ronan Thompson, who died last year from cancer at three. Swift read about it in his mother's blog, "Rockstar Ronan."
The song comes on the heels of a new single for Swift, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together released as the first single from her forthcoming "Red" CD.
