Shelton wins second award
Thursday, November 1, 2012 – Blake Shelton continued a hot streak by winning CMA Male Vocalist of the Year, his second award of the night.
Shelton said, "What? What? I'm going to be totally honest. I've had a few drinks since the Song of the year announcement, and I was actually sitting there there thinking Jason or Luke had this one. I wasn't prepared for this."
Shelton took the honor over Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and Eric Church.
Shelton won Song of the Year with wife MIranda Lambert for Over You.
