Brice slated to new people
Monday, November 12, 2012 – Lee Brice will release his new single, I Drive Your Truck, this week. The track is available this Friday and officially goes for adds on Dec. 3. The music video will simultaneously debut on CMT.
"The first time I heard this song, I knew I had to record it," said Brice. "It immediately reminded me of my granddaddy and it hit really close to home. When we went to make the video, I wanted to be sure that I made it personal. So, I asked my brother Lewis to play the lead, and I am really proud of what he added."
The song was written by Jessi Alexander, Connie Harrington and Jimmy Yeary.
The song follows Brice's multi-week number one Hard To Love, which he'll perform tomorrow on NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon airing at 12:35 p.m. eastern. From New York City, Brice will head back to the road with tour dates scheduled this weekend in Lake City, FL (Nov. 15), Westlake, LA (Nov. 16) and San Antonio. (Nov. 17)
