"Red" rules again
Wednesday, December 19, 2012 – Taylor Swift stayed atop the Billboard 200 Albums Chart with "Red" the best selling disc in the U.S. with 208,000 units sold, up 25 percent.
"Red" has held the top spot for five non-consecutive weeks.
Blake Shelton was eighth on the chart with "Cheers, It's Christmas" with 68,000 units sold, down less than 1 percent. Lady Antebellum rounded out the top 10 with the holiday disc "On This Winter's Night," selling 60,000 units, down 3 percent. The "Nashville" TV soundtrack debuted at 13 with 56,000 units sold.
The charts officially come out on Thursday.
