A "True Story," Shelton makes TV rounds

Sunday, March 24, 2013 – Blake Shelton's new album, "Based On A True Story," will be out Tuesday with Shelton hitting TV shows to promote the disc.

Shelton will begin with a performance on NBC's The Today Show at 8 a.m. Eastern/Pacific on March 26 and will be performing as part of Clear Channel's iHeartRadio LIVE on March 27 at 7 a.m. Eastern. He will also make appearances March 28 on ABC's Live! With Kelly and Michael at 9 a.m. Eastern/Pacific and NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon at 12:37 a.m. Eastern/Pacific. Shelton will perform at a special private acoustic album release concert in Chicago on March 29 as part of US99.5's Live Country Series at Joe's Bar.

The following week on April 2, fans can tune in for more performances from Shelton on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno at 11:35 p.m. Eastern/Pacific and on April 3, CBS' The Talk at 2 p.m. Eastern/1 p.m. Pacific. Shelton wraps up his appearances with Chelsea Handler to perform on E!'s Chelsea Lately on Wednesday, April 3 at 11 p.m. Eastern/Pacific.

Shelton will additionally appear on Access Hollywood, CBS This Morning, E! News, Entertainment Tonight, Extra, The Dennis Miller Show and Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me! on NPR.
