Shelton, Thompson Square, AJ offer new music
Tuesday, March 26, 2013 – Blake Shelton leads the list of three releases today. "Based on a True Story" contains the number one single Sure Be Cool If You Did. The disc contains 11 other songs, ranging from ballads (Do You Remember) to country rockers (Small Town Big Time.)
Kiefer and Shawna Thompson had a lot of success with their debut disc. Now they're back with "Just Feels Good." The release contains their hit If I Didn't Have You. Once again teaming up with production collective New Voice (NV), the Thompsons helped pen 6 of the 13 songs,
Alan Jackson had a lot of success with "Precious Memories Volume I" when it came out in 2006. In fact, the disc was slated to be a present to his mom, but after much encouragement from friends, he released it commercially and sold 2 million units. Now, he's back with 11 more songs. Unlike the first disc, the new one contains the song Precious Memories. Other songs include Amazing Grace, He Lives, There's Power in the Blood and When the Roll is Called Up Yonder.

This six-song "Blake Shelton Live EP" seems a little odd. It's not as though Shelton had an especially noteworthy tour to document.
