– The country music community reacted with sympathy for Boston in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing.
"Sending all of my love to Boston after a day of sadness and confusion and not knowing what to say. I just don't understand," said Taylor Swift on Twitter, one of many posts by country artists on Twitter.
Brad Paisley wrote, "Could there be anything more cowardly than planting a bomb in a public place and running away?These terrorists are the epitome of cowardice."
"Boston, sending our thoughts and prayers..." said The Band Perry.
Joy Williams of The Civil Wars tweeted, "Sending my love and thoughts to those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings today."
"Can't sleep. My heart is heavy. I think about someone wanting to hurt my family and my blood boils. Boston, we love you," said Randy Houser.
"There is no reason. It just is. Hopefully we can use it for some kind of good," Gurf Morlix tweeted.
Jason Isbell wrote, referring to the Masters golf tournament, "There is no reason. It just is. Hopefully we can use it for some kind of good."
