Ladies and gentlemen, Brad Paisley

Wednesday, June 12, 2013 – Ladies and gentlemen...Brad Paisley.

Those words could be coming soon from the lips of Mick Jagger because the Stones tweeted today: "The Rolling Stones will be joined by the incredible @BradPaisley in Philly on June 18! What song do you think he'll play on? #Stones50"

Paisley will not be the first country performer to join the band on its tour. Carrie Underwood did so in Toronto, Keith Urban in Los Angeles and Taylor Swift in Chicago.

Paisley has been on his own tour. He played to more than 52,000 fans in Cincinnati, Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C. this past weekend. Special guests on the tour include Chris Young, Lee Brice and The Henningsens.

Following the show in Charlotte Paisley hosted his tour mates and bands to a fun late night excursion of go-karting at Victory Lane Karting in Charlotte. After show field trips are nothing new on a Paisley tour; previously on this tour he rented out theatres to see "Iron Man" and "Star Trek."

In fact, Paisley manages to combine the ultra serious with his typical sense of humor. The seriousness is never more apparent from Paisley than on the controversial Accidental Racist with LL Cool J, who helped write and perform it. ...
CD review - Hits Alive Brad Paisley's new live hits CD is a bit of a tease. That's because it only goes half way in replicating the true live Paisley experience. Watching the accompanying concert videos at a Paisley show, whether the venue screen is showing Andy Griffith during Waitin' on a Woman or the montage of recently-deceased celebrities that accompanies When I Get Where I'm Going, reveal how Paisley simply must be seen to be fully enjoyed. Nevertheless, Paisley in concert and captured on ...
CD review - American Saturday Night Brad Paisley has grown up on his eighth album. Yes, the West Virginian maintains a sense of humor, but apparently aging has left its mark on a maturing singer who has never forsaken his country roots. That is ever so apparent in songs like Anything Like Me and Oh Yeah, You're Gone. The former finds Paisley looking at the passage of time through his son's life in a tender, but not sappy look. On the latter, he's a five-year-old boy who doesn't get what he wants, which his grandfather notices. ...
