At $65M, Keith leads Forbes list among country artists
Wednesday, November 20, 2013 – Toby Keith is the leading money maker among country artists at $65 million, according to Forbes Magazine.
Madonna tops the list at $125 million.
The list is based on income from June 1, 2012 through June 1, 2013. Forbes uses data collected from Pollstar, the RIAA, Nielsen SoundScan and the artists themselves plus including account ticket sales, merchandising, publishing royalties, endorsements and personal business ventures.
Taylor Swift was seventh at $55 million. Kenny Chesney was ninth with $53 million. Tim McGraw was at 25 with $32 million.
