FGL wins ACM duo honor
Sunday, April 6, 2014 – Florida Georgia Line won the first award of the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday - Vocal Duo of the Year.
AFter thanking everyone from their label to fans to their publicist, "Country music is alive and well," says Brian Kelley.
FGL was the overwhelming favorite to win the honor, which came one hour into the show. The evening is hosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan.
Performers thus far have included George Strait, Lady Antebellum with Stevie Nicks, The Band Perry, Shelton with Shakira, Lee Brice, Justin Moore, Kip Moore, Eric Church and Keith Urban.
