Neither rain, nor wind stops Bucky Covington
Friday, August 10, 2007 – Bucky Covington was scheduled to headline a show at the fairgrounds in Chillicothe, Ohio last night to benefit Rock For Tots, a children's charity that supports 25 children's organizations throughout southern Ohio.
But not everything went according to plan.
As the day progressed, the skies opened up with torrential rains, lightning and 50 mile per hour winds.
By the time the storms passed, much of the equipment onstage was damaged from the heavy rains, axing the regular concert. Not wanting to disappoint, Covington went out into the grandstands to perform an acoustic set and sign autographs for fans.
