Chicks reunite for Euro tour

Thursday, June 18, 2015 – The Dixie Chicks are reuniting for at least six dates for a European tour in 2016.

The dates are:
April 20 - Amsterdam, The Netherlands
April 29 - Birmingham, England
April 30 - Manchester, England
May 1 - London
May 3 - Glasgow, Scotland
May 4 - Dublin, Ireland

No U.S. dates were announced.

The Chicks' last album was "Taking the Long Way Home" in 2006.

The Dixie Chicks certainly enjoyed their most controversial year ever thanks to a few words uttered by lead singer Natalie Maines, and they also had one of the most successful tours of 2003 as well. This 22-song live disc recorded somewhere during the U.S. part of the tour is clear indication that beyond the headlines, there was a tremendous amount of quality music going on.
