Producer assaulted in Nashville
Wednesday, September 30, 2015 – Grammy-nominated producer, Dave Brainard, sustained a broken jaw after being allegedly assaulted by a driver in Nashville on Sunday.
Brainard, 40, remains in a Nashville hospital and will have his jaw wired shut for six weeks. He had been found unconscious and missing teeth following the assault early Sunday. Brainard had surgery earlier this week.
Brainard and two women were crossing the street when a car hit one of the women, according to The Tennessean. The car continued hitting at least Brainard and one of the women. Both the driver and passenger got out of their vehicle and started yelling and assaulting Brianard and his friend, Deborah DeLoach.
Brainard 40, produced Clark's Grammy-nominated "12 Stories." He also was behind Jerrod Niemann's last two releases and produced Jamey Johnson's 2002 self-released debut, "They Call Me Country."

However, more Brandy Clark is never a bad thing, so we'll take it.
This new edition includes a couple of live versions of album songs. Both "Who You Thought I Was" and ...
Whenever Brandy Clark's "Your Life is a Record" is described as the work of a smart, female singer/songwriter - an inevitable characterization - you may immediately picture 11 sophisticated pop songs. And then there's her own artistic career with her major label debut finally coming close to three years after her extremely well-received (with ...
