Nettles releases new single

Thursday, December 3, 2015 – Jennifer Nettles released the first single, "Unlove You," from her upcoming Big Machine Records debut.

Nettles wrote the song with Brandy Clark. Lyrics include: I can't unlove you / and a heart can't unbreak / I can't unfeel how it felt / To feel so much myself / My whole body ached / I can't unknow this / Lord I wish I knew how / But I can't unlove you / So come love me for now / I can't unlove you / So come love me for now."

The song goes for adds on Jan. 11. The album is slated to be out early in 2016.

Last week, Nettles performed "Unlove You" during The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and appeared on the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, in addition to starring in the upcoming film Coat of Many Colors Dec. 10, all airing on NBC. Nettles will host the CMA Country Christmas special on ABC tonight.

Nettles will go on the road on the CMT Presents Jennifer Nettles with 2016 Next Women of Country Tour in January along with Clark, Lindsay Ell and Tara Thompson.
