Shelton, Underwood, Lady A take People's Choice honors
Wednesday, January 6, 2016 – Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum won the country awards handed out Wednesday at the People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
Shelton took home the Favorite Male Country Artist, Underwood the Favorite Female and Lady Antebellum the Favorite Group.
Other nominees were: Brad Paisley, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban and Luke Bryan in the male category.
Underwood went against Cassadee Pope, Kacey Musgraves, Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire in the female category.
The Band Perry, Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town and Zac Brown Band also were nominated for the group award.
