Clark releases new single
Friday, January 22, 2016 – Brandy Clark released a new single, "Girl Next Door," today.
The song is her first with Warner, which will release her next CD. No release date for the CD has been announced.
"Girl Next Door" is a more upbeat song musically and less traditional country-wise than some of the songs on her "12 Stories" debut CD from 2013. Written by Clark, Jessie Jo Dillon and Shane McAnally, the song goes for adds at country radio on Feb. 16.
Clark has gained acclaim as a songwriter. She wrote Miranda Lambert's "Mama's Broken Heart" and The Band Perry's "Bigger Dig Two." She also has penned seven songs recorded by Kacey Musgraves on her last two discs, including the single "Biscuits."
