Shelton puts out new single
Tuesday, March 8, 2016 – Blake Shelton released the first single this morning from his next album.
"Came Here to Forget," a mid-tempo song, was released to country radio and will be on his 12th disc.
""I've had a lot of music over the years but I don't think I've ever had a song before that's such a direct look into my life. That's why I'm so excited about this particular song," Shelton said.
Craig Wiseman and Deric Ruttan penned the song, which is the first new song Shelton has released since his break-up with Miranda Lambert.
Shelton's last disc, "Bringing Back the Sunshine," was out in 2014 and yielded the hits "Neon Light," "Lonely Tonight," Sangria" and "Gonna."
