Price, Cam play Bonnaroo
Wednesday, January 11, 2017 – Margo Price, Cam and Luke Combs will play Bonnaroo this June.
They are among a few country and Americana artists playing the annual festival in Manchester, Tenn. U2, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Weeknd are among the main acts playing the festival being held June 8-11.
Canadian band The Strumbellas, Greensky Bluegrass, Mandolin Orange, Aaron Lee Tasjan, a Cincinnati artist on New West Records, River Whyless and Bluegrass Situation Superjam hosted by actor and musician Ed Helms also will play the festival.

Margo Price recorded "That's How Rumors Get Started" in Los Angeles, and it doesn't take long to pick up on a distinct El Lay sound driving this 10-song collection. The opener (and title track) finds Price sounding a lot like "Rumors" era Fleetwood Mac - specifically vocally echoing Stevie Nicks. Margo Price's surprise EP, "Weakness," is a pleasant surprise, indeed. It may be concise, but it's packed tightly with good stuff.
The project's title cut is a bit confessional and finds Price admitting, "Sometimes my weakness is stronger than me." Price sings it like a down home cowgirl, over a toe-tapping beat. She follows this upbeat track with a moody piece called "Just Like Love," which is played in a minor key, and is a "Jolene"-esque meditation. ...
You don't hear much from singers like Margo Price any more. When she's singing of the farm in the leadoff "Hands of Time," she's not singing some type of stultifying, reverse bro country song.
