Blake Shelton calls "Home"
Shelton was aware of "Home" when it was first released, but it was after his current album, "Pure BS," was released in 2007 that he was reintroduced to "Home." He added it to his live show and played it for some fans and record executives during CMA week this past November. He was pleased with the reaction. "I didn't want to wait til the next album to put this out - it just feels right for now," said Shelton.
"Home" will be available digitally at Amazon.com on Feb. 1 as a digital single and also included on "Pure BS." On Feb. 5, it will be available digitally at all other digital retailers including iTunes and Rhapsody. The ringtone will be available via all carriers in early February.
On March 4, "Shelton: Collector's Edition" will be available in Wal-Mart only. The disc will include "Home" along with "Austin," "Ol' Red," "Nobody But Me," and "Some Beach."
"Pure BS Deluxe Edition," including "Home" and other unreleased material, will be available in stores this summer.
"Home" also will be featured in Pepsi Stuff radio ads.
