Carrie Underwood ascends to top of album chart again

Wednesday, May 2, 2007 – More than a year after its release, Carrie Underwood's "Some Hearts" once again is number 1 on the Billboard album chart, which will be officially out Thursday, with sales of 44,000 units, according to Billboard. Underwood took over from Bucky Covington's self-titled debut.

Martina McBride's "Waking Up Laughing" was second on the chart, selling 37,000 units, a drop of 33 percent. Tim McGraw's "Let It Go" was third, also with 37,000 units and only a few dozen in sales short of McBride. His sales drop was 28 percent.
