Jason Michael Carroll, Bucky Covington start tour tonight

Thursday, October 25, 2007 – Bucky Covington and Jason Michael Carroll, country music's two best-selling new male artists of 2007, will kick off their co-headlining Raisin' The Bar tour tonight in Corpus Christi, Texas. The tour with Cole Deggs & The Lonesome opening will span 20 dates from Texas to New York before wrapping Dec. 8 in Baltimore.

Carroll's Arista Nashville album, "Waitin' in the Country," debuted at number one and has had hits with "Alyssa Lies" and "Livin' Our Love Song."

Covington is 2007's best-selling debut country artist. His self-titled CD debuted at number 1. His current single is "It's Good To Be Us," while he had top five with "A Different World."
