Worsham plans to play "Rubberband" come August

Friday, May 31, 2013 – Charlie Worsham will release his debut album, "Rubberband," on Aug. 20 on Warner Bros. Records.

The 11-track release, featuring his debut single, Could It Be, was entirely co-written by Worsham and co-produced with Ryan Tyndell (executive produced by Arturo Buenahora). The album also includes a collaboration between Worsham, Marty Stuart and Vince Gill - two of his biggest musical idols - for Tools of the Trade.

Before he wrote and recorded "Rubberband," the Mississippi native was a studio musician along with being on the road. He worked with artists such as Eric Church and Dierks Bentley and shared stages with Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert

CD review - Rubberband Newcomer Charlie Worsham doesn't sound so new once the music starts. In fact, Keith Urban serves as a ready made launching pad for the Mississippi native. Worsham sounds remarkably like the Aussie vocally on the lead-off and very catchy Could It Be, the first single. One could easily imagine Urban would be comfortable singing this smooth, a tad soulful, upbeat sounding song.
