Pearce, Ray announce engagement

Saturday, December 22, 2018 – Another Nashville couple is getting hitched.

Carly Pearce announced tonight that she is engaged to fellow singer Michael Ray.

"The man of my dreams got down on one knee earlier this week and asked me to be his wife. @Michaelraymusic you are the most precious example of God's timing & His love for me. WE ARE GETTIN MARRIED, BABY!" Pearce wrote on Twitter.

There was no wedding date announced. Pearce, 28, said in July that she was dating Ray.

Pearce released her major label debut last year and enjoyed a hit with "Every Little Thing." Ray has released three albums, including two for Warner. "Amos" came out in June. His current single is "One That Got Away."

Other recent Nashville couples include Kelsea Ballerini, who married Morgan Evans and Maren Morris, who tied the knot with Ryan Hurd.
