Thompson plan first overseas tour

Monday, March 25, 2019 – Thompson Square will launch its first international tour in September, it was announced today.

Booked to hit five countries in Europe and the United Kingdom over 10 days, the trip will kick off in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on Sept. 2 and visit Germany, Ireland and Scotland before wrapping with a show in London on Sept. 12.

"Today is the realization of something that has been a long time coming," said the duo's Keifer Thompson. "We are so excited to announce tour dates that will take us all over this big world and can't wait to finally meet so many of our fans. We'll see you all soon."

Sept. 5 - Cologne, Germany @ Blue Shell

Sept. 8 - Lutterworth, England @ The Long Road Festival
Sept. 10 - Glasgow, Scotland @ Oran Mor
Sept. 11 - Machester, England @ Band on the Wall
Sept. 12 - London, England @ Bush Hall

Shawna and Keifer Thompson recently signed with Reviver Entertainment, which will re-release their third disc, "Masterpiece," which came out last year.

Masterpiece CD review - Masterpiece
If there's a way in which Thompson Square can partner up, they will find it. The husband/wife and singer/songwriting team has added two more badges to their collaborations: parents (a baby son was born in 2016) and independent artists (the duo parted ways with Stoney Creek Records).
