Fallout continues for Wallen in wake of racial slur
Thursday, February 4, 2021 – The fallout from Morgan Wallen's use of a racial slur - the N word - on Sunday night continued on Thursday with his booking agency dropping him, according to Variety.
WME was the singer's booking agency to book his concerts. Variety said that a company representative confirmed the decision.
TMZ showed a video of Wallen on Sunday with friends and he told a friend to "take care of" this "p**** ass mother******" and then said to "take care of this p**** ass n*****." Wallen then went into his house. Wallen issued an apology on Tuesday, but that did not put an end to the firestorm.
The fall out has been swift for Wallen whose star was rising rapidly with the release of a 33-song double album, "The Dangerous: The Double Album," last month. His label, Big Loud, Republic, suspended his contract.
Major radio station companies ordered stations not to play his songs.
