Midland goes on the road; Whitters opens
The trio announced today fall dates on The Last Resort Tour.
Tickets go on sale Friday, May 7 for the tour that will make stops in Nashville, Chicago, Boston and New York. Singer/songwriter Hailey Whitters will open the shows.
The announcement follows a short run of outdoor shows Midland and Whitters performed in Texas last month with Flatland Cavalry.
Midland - Mark Wystrach (lead vocals, guitar), Jess Carson (guitar, vocals), and Cameron Duddy (bass guitar, vocals) - released a soundtrack album, "The Sonic Ranch," in March about early recordings of the band. The group also released "Live from the Palomino" in 2020 and two studio albums, "On the Rocks' In 2017 and "Let It Roll" in 2019.
Whitters released a deluxe version of her 2020 album "The Dream" as "Living the Dream." Brent Cobb, Jordan Davis, Hillary Lindsey, Little Big Town, Lori McKenna and Trisha Yearwood contributed vocals to the new songs.
