Parmalee wants fans to "Take My Name"

Tuesday, October 5, 2021 – Parmalee went to country radio on Monday with "Take My Name."

The song was written by frontman Matt Thomas, along with Ashley Gorley (who has garnered over 50 number one songs at country radio), producer David Fanning and Track45 member Ben Johnson. The group will perform the single to The Kelly Clarkson Show, airing on Oct. 18 on NBC.

The song was on the band's new disc, "For You," on BBR Music Group/Stoney Creek Records. The 13-track project covers pop and country sounds. The North Carolina band gained airplay with "Just the Way" with Blanco Brown helping out.

The group is comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and life-long friend Josh McSwain.
