Blanco Brown is back

Friday, February 2, 2024 – Blanco Brown returns with his trailer trap sound on his upcoming EP, "Heartache & Lemonade," via Wheelhouse Records/BMG Nashville on April 5. T

Brown, who had a hit with "The Git Up," released the song "Sunshine Shine" today. He incorporates country, hip hop and soul into his sound.

This is his first release of extended since "Honeysuckle & Lightning Bugs" in 2019.

"This EP feels a bit different for me," said Brown. "I've now traveled the world, looked death in the eyes and somehow made it back alive. Bitter moments never lasted, sweeter moments brought me back to purpose. 'Heartache & Lemonade' brings about a new chapter. Try turning some of your worst moments into a smile every once in a while."

An engineer who has worked with Fergie, Childish Gambino, Kane Brown and Chris Brown, Brown's collaboration "Just the Way" with Parmalee earned Brown his first number oine hit on country radio in the U.S. and Canada. He later teamed with Nelly on the funky, country-inspired track "High Horse," T.I. for "Trap Still Bumpin'," LOCASH and the late Leslie Jordan for the funky "Let It Slide," while pairing with Diplo for "Do Si Do" and Lee Brice and R3HAB for the remix of Brice's hit song, "Soul."
