Ballerini reimagines "Love Me LIke You Mean It"

Thursday, April 4, 2024 – Earmarking a milestone, Kelsea Ballerini celebrates the 10th anniversary of her debut smash single "Love Me Like You Mean It" with a new reimagined version out now.

In conjunction with the song's release, Ballerini is set to perform the song live in Austin during the CMT Music Awards, where she will also serve as the show's host for the fourth year in a row.

Ballerini said, "I can't believe it's been 10 years since 'Love Me Like You Mean It'. To say that song changed my life is a massive understatement. It's a part of who I am and the beginning of my journey as an artist. To celebrate its 10th birthday by sharing this reimagined version with my fans feels full circle and is the perfect palate cleanser before new music. I hope everyone loves this, dare I say 'grown up' version, as much as I do."

"Love Me Like You Mean It" initially arrived on July 8, 2014. Not only did the song go Platinum, but she was the first female country music artist on an independent label to top the Billboard Country Airplay Chart ever and "the first female country artist to top the chart since 2006."

Ballerini is in the studio, creating the follow-up to her "Rolling Up The Welcome Mat" EP.

CD review - kelsea Once unheard of, more than a few of today's country queens don't necessarily stick to their own genre. Ballerini scored a top five country album out of the gate with her debut in 2015. "The First Time" had great flavors of R&B and sounded very assured for a come-out roll. ...
CD review - Unapologetically It already seems like Kelsea Ballerini is a fixture on the scene, but America's barely had time to blink since her debut, "The First Time." Four major singles, a headlining tour and an armful of awards are just some of the harvest that followed. Some of that star power exceeds musical gifts - Ballerini has that insta-charm that makes her a ready TV guest or host. She's from Tennessee and smiles for miles. But she also gives off a wiser, worldlier vibe than many others of her ...
CD review - The First Time "Why do we need you? There's already a Taylor Swift." So said a Nashville record executive to a teenage Kelsea Ballerini. It undoubtedly stung at the time - but she was still in high school and had only travelled from Knoxville. Now that same executive is likely pricing a self-kicking machine. Ballerini's self-titled EP released last year scored big with a Top Ten Country single, "Love Me Like You Mean It." "The First Time," her full-sized debut, has now ...
