Wade is like a "Moth to a Flame"

Friday, June 21, 2024 – Morgan Wade returns with another look into her upcoming project, "Obsessed," with the song "Moth to a Flame."

The song features a lilting acoustic guitar line complemented by a soulful lap steel and piano.

Wade wrote all 14 songs on "Obsession," which was produced by her touring guitarist Clint Wells, and comes out Aug. 16. Kesha is featured on "Walked on Water." The project follows here celebrated sophomore effort, "Psychopath."

Wade wrapped her headlining unplugged Crossing State Lines tour last month. She recently began her opening stint on Alanis Morissette's Triple Moon Tour.

With one track, "80's Movie," Morgan Wade's producer (Sadler Vaden) has tried awfully hard to brighten the singer/songwriter's sound.
