Wade is in "Total Control"
Friday, July 19, 2024 – Morgan Wade released the song "Total Control" today from her upcoming third major label album, "Obsessed."
The album opener, "Total Control" sees Wade relinquishing her composure in favor of an all-consuming love. With previously released sneak peeks "Halloween," "Moth to A Flame," "2AM in London" and "Time to Love, Time to Kill."
The 14-song disc was produced by her touring guitarist Clint Wells and comes out Aug. 16.
Wade is opening Alanis Morissette's Triple Room Tour, wrapping Aug. 10 in Los Angeles.

With one track, "80's Movie," Morgan Wade's producer (Sadler Vaden) has tried awfully hard to brighten the singer/songwriter's sound. With her multi-tracked lead vocals, this – and other tracks on her "Psychopath" album - have a pop-ish, girl group sound. This sonic is likely more appealing than the raw emotion she expressed with her single, "Wilder Days."
The title track is about a guy that thinks Wade is a psychopath, but he's likely not ...
