Carpenter has her "Boots On"

The twangy track finds the young talent lovesick, craving some kisses and trying her hardest to coax her beau back home. Tempting her man to play hooky by living out what many a man's daydreams are made of, Carpenter cheekily tries to rope him in with what she is...or isn't wearing.

Written by Carpenter alongside Rhett Akins and frequent collaborators Brandon Hood and Ben Williams, Carpenter said, "I wrote 'Boots On' in my honeymoon era, so that season was a big inspiration for this one. It's such a fun, flirty tune that my hubby sure does love, and I hope y'all do too.:

Carpenter has had a hand in writing Lily Rose's 2021 No. 1 hit "Villain" and Megan Moroney's Top 15 single "I'm Not Pretty." Carpenter released "Only Girl" in June.
