Brown releases new version of "Says I Can" with a little help

Wednesday, January 29, 2025 – Kane Brown released "Says I Can (The High Road Tour Version)," a revised version of the original track featuring his tour mates Ashley Cooke, Dasha, Mitchell Tenpenny and Scotty McCreery from his new CD, "The High Road," via Sony Music Nashville.

Produced by Dann Huff and written by Brown, Gabe Foust, Jaxson Free and Matt Roy the track is a stripped back raw and soulful song that blends classic country elements with Brown's modern style centered around the narrator's internal struggle as he tries to silence the voice in his head — often the voice of doubt — that tells him he can't get over his ex.

Brown's The High Road Tour kicks off on March 13 in San Diego.

CD review - Kane Brown First look at the cover for Kane Brown's full-length debut album, and you may experience a "Homeboy" moment. The young man appears like the tattooed model for Eric Church's song of the same name. Although Brown is categorized as bro-country in some quarters, the actual music he makes is much better than you might expect. This is one case where you shouldn't judge the book by its cover. Although the album includes a lustful song like "Pull It Off," which is a ...
