The Grascals undergo line-up change
Monday, May 19, 2008 – The Grascals lost fiddle player Jimmy Mattingly to Dolly Parton, but gained Jeremy Abshire as a replacement. Mattingly has played with Parton for many years. With an increased work schedule with Parton, Mattingly left the bluegrass band The Grascals, who are releasing their third CD on Rounder in July.
Abshire has spent time with Dale Ann Bradley's band. "The news is true," he said via email. "I couldn't be more excited about the new gig."
