Bill Anderson returns to recording studio
Friday, August 7, 2009 – Whisperin' Bill Anderson returned to the recording studio this week with an album due before the end of the year.
Anderson teamed-up with his producer/engineer, Rex Schnelle to start recording a new CD at studios in Nashville. Anderson said the album will contain songs he wrote with such collaborators as Jamie Johnson of The Grascals, Brad Paisley, Jon Randall, Rivers Rutherford, Buddy Cannon, Tim Nichols, Barry Dean and Casey Beathard.
Product is expected to be available before Christmas in select stores and at billanderson.com.

With his well-deserved induction into Country Music's Hall of Fame, Bill Anderson's profile is on the rise. So this disc, self-released last year, finally gets into stores. Anderson remains a vital songwriter, and two of this album's new songs have already received major covers ("Too Country" by Brad Paisley, and the title track by Kenny Chesney).
